cry out

Come join us! Cry Out through prayer and fasting with believers all over the earth.

"I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me — just as the Father knows me and I know the Father — and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd." John 10:14-16 NIV

Good morning from the beautiful Middle East,

This past Thursday, Jan. 10 kicked off the most important time of the year for Shi'ite Muslims. Each year for 10 days Shiites celebrate Ashura, a time when they remember and mourn Imam Hussein, a man whose death in the 7th century caused the split off of their branch of Islam.

I earnestly ask you to join followers of Christ around the world as we pray for Shiites during these 10 days. Historically, Ashura has been a time where God has moved in incredibly powerful ways throughout Shiite communities, and we trust this Ashura will be no different.

As many of you know, we just launched the first stage of our CRY OUT website on Jan. 1st, and I ask you to please go check it out. It is only in its beginning stages, but thus far God has been opening big doors and has been doing huge things not only through the website, but also through the other countless ways we our spreading the message of CRY OUT.

The web address is: http://www.cryoutnow.org.

To learn more about Ashura I encourage you to check out http://www.shbride.blogspot.com and download a PDF of the Ten Day Prayer Guide in English, Chinese, or Portuguese.

Thank you for joining me and others in the Body of Christ during this crucial time of year for my people, the Shiites.

Please pray specifically that Shiite families will be given dreams and visions of Jesus during Ashura.

Pray for Followers of Christ who work among Shiites during this spiritually intense time.

Pray for Shiites to see and experience the power of the blood of Jesus.
